With Sanggwan Chaek seemingly dead, Ilgak goes over to retrieve the sword but finds it fused to the former's hand. Sanggwan Chaek (possessed) gets up and his body pushes the mala beads out of his flesh. Ilgak manages to evade the ensuing slashes, noting that the power behind them has increased. After mentioning that Sanggwan Chaek looks no longer human, Ilgak exudes an immense amount of ki and counters with a secret technique, releasing a massive explosion.
