Chapter 130: Sanggwan Chaek rushes over to stab the Young Lady but Hyeon Jae-Yang intervenes; blocking the attack with a ball of ki in time. When the young lady expresses concern for Chaek, Hyeon Jae-Yang informs her that the young man is dead and that the Lightning God's Blue Dragon Sword's spectre is controlling the body. Even at eight tenths of its full power, Hyeon Jae-Yang's Black Celestial Technique is no match for the godly sword and Sanggwan Chaek (possessed) is able to penetrate through and stab his master. Then Hyeon Jae-Yang commands the Young Lady to run away and unleashes his Grand Divine Celestial Destruction Technique which deals fatal blows to Sanggwan Chaek and nearly destroys the Golden Castle. Outside, Ilgak notes that the Golden Castle would have been smashed to smithereens if Hyeon Jae-Yang used his ultimate technique at full power and wonders if he held back out of consideration for his favorite disciple. Ilgak finds Hyeon Jae-Yang among the rubble and corrects his distorted ki flow but is unable to do more for his severe internal injuries. Then they shockingly watch Sanggwan Chaek's possessed body rise up from the rubble nearby with his grievous wounds healing.
Elsewhere, Yongbi and Biryong split up having reached a fork in the road.
