Chapter 39: As the Red Bloods inspect the corpses of their two dead agents, Elder Muk, a senior officer, notes that the extreme decay of the corpses are no doubt the work of a Demonic Technique. After finding out that Hong Ye-Mong went to confront their enemies by herself, Elder Muk orders Commander Zhang Cheolhwan to break their web of pursuit and have the agents surround the village. He then quickly heads for the village.
Inside the village, Hong Ye-Mong walks through the desolate village, and stumbles across a luxurious shoe belonging to Yul Mugi. At that, she notices an enormous presence radiating from a building and Hong Ye-Mong boldly approaches it as hordes of zombified villagers and Cruel Moon Archdemon wait inside.
In the mean time, Elder Muk strolls through the village, calling out for Hong Ye-Mong. Elder Muk soon finds himself surrounded by the zombie villagers but he pays them no mind and starts joking around. As the zombies are about to attack him, his disciples, the Four Yellow Dragons, appears. Three of them prepare to fight the zombies while one joins Elder Muk in his antics.
Meanwhile, Hong Ye-Mong enters the building and finds Cruel Moon Archdemon sitting inside with Yul Mugi in his arms. He then compliments Hong Ye-Mong on her beauty while the zombie villagers hang from the ceiling like bats.
