Dang Gwe (당괴, Dang-goe) is a martial artist from Hadong and was once the boss of a small gang of thugs. However, after the near annihilation of the infamous Sun Moon Gang due to internal strife caused by supernatural phenomenon, he became the leader of the remnants.[1]
Appearance & Personality[]
Dang Gwe is a large imposing man with a bulky frame and well-defined musculature. He is bald with two prominent scars on his head. Initially, he only wore pants and a cloak but opted for a shirt and pants in prison. There is also a palm-shaped indentation on his chest from receiving Gang Ryong's Evil Negating Palmstrike.
He is a criminal with no qualms about murdering others. Surprisingly, he is compliant with serving his sentence peacefully though.

Plot[]
Intro[]
For an unknown reason, he and his gang of thugs was after Doh Yeon's trail. Encountering her at an inn, he chased after her, knocking someone's dumplings on to the floor. With the young man calling him out on it, his gang got rowdy but Dang Gwe diffused the situation by giving him coins to pay for it. He and his gang then accosted Doh Yeon's party, injuring her bodyguards. Gang Ryong arrived in the middle of his customers getting assaulted and gave them their take-out, completely ignoring the situation. The assailants tried to intimidate Gang, when they are suddenly assaulted with coins from the young man from earlier. Seeing that the young man was strong, Dang Gwe challenged him to a one-on-one. The young man confidently landed several blows, assured of his own victory, until Dang Gwe got up, boasting of his "Diamond Body", and then crumpled the martial artist without mercy. Just then, Gang scolded him for taking it so far and got attacked by the assailants but nonchalantly subdued them without a second thought. An enraged Dang Gwe then attacked him from behind but Gang quickly sent him reeling with an elbow to the chest, before completely finishing him off with a Heavenly Destruction technique, burying him inside a pile of rubble.
Doh Gyeom, the Iron Lion[]
Following his arrest, he and his gang was thrown into prison. One night, supernatural phenomenon started occurring due to Song Yerin and both guards and inmates alike became possessed. In another prison cell, an inmate loudly told them to keep the racket down, waking up his fellow inmates. Dang Gwe told them to suck it up and go back to sleep. Their prison door suddenly swung open and an eerily eyed man stared them down before turning on them. Hearing the screams of his men, Dang Gwe told them to shut up only to see them all emptily staring back at him. They then all jump him as he screamed in terror.
However, Dang Gwe managed to subdue them with great effort. Taking a moments rest, he suddenly noticed movement from one his men and started punching him again. By this point, the man was no longer possessed and pleaded for his life but Dang Gwe just continued the beatdown.

Powers & Abilities[]
Dang Gwe possesses great strength that matches his physical stature which grants him the ability to crush his opponents in his arms. Defensively, he claims to have reached the level of "Diamond Body". While he does possesses enough durability to shrug off blows from a competent martial artist, it seems his claim of having a Diamond Body is false as he desperately but unsuccessfully tried to confess the truth before being taken down by Gang Ryong.[2]
