This character was the bandit chieftain of the Cheonpung stronghold that controlled the land around Mount Cheonpung, and was Goo Hwi's impostor.
Appearance & Personality[]
He was an enormous man who resembled Goo Hwi. His hair is tied back into a short spiky ponytail, and had a finely groomed moustache. The impostor also had a tattoo of a black snake on his left shoulder and what appeared to be a birthmark over his left eye.
The impostor was a villainous man who terrorized the common folk. He tortured a man and ravished the latter's wife before murdering them both.

At some point he assumed Goo Hwi's identity and terrorized the villages around Mount Cheonpung with his group of bandits.[1]

Volume 5[]
A group of mountain bandits sat around waiting for a victim when suddenly, a carriage arrived. The bandits stopped the carriage and the servant driving the carriage called for his master. Hwangbo Soong came out and called to two men to deal with the bandits. After, the mountain bandits brought the mangled yet living bodies of their comrades to him, and upon receiving word of the perpetrator's locations, he sent everyone out after them, thinking they were government spies.
Later, he and his large group of bandits confronted Hwangbo Soong's group at Wang In's home and he introduced himself as Goo Hwi, the Heaven Ravager King! Hwangbo Soong's hired guards looked at him surprised, noting that he looked quite different from the wanted poster. Then the chieftain attempted to intimidate the mercenaries with Goo Hwi's reputation but the mercenaries were unfazed, Chomu even accepted the challenge. The bandits attacked the mercenaries but they were easily dealt with. With his subordinates urging him to join the fight, the bandit chieftain lifted up an enormous boulder and hurled it at the mercenaries. Two of the mercenaries evaded the boulder while one sliced the boulder to pieces without moving from his spot. As the rest of the bandits moved in to attack, most of the bandits were killed by arrows. Wang In, the man Hwangbo Soong freshly hired, arrived and intended to punish the bandits for the atrocities they have committed. He then fired multiple viper as projectiles which changed directions in mid-air to strike their targets and one bit and killed the Fake Goo Hwi instantly.

While a poor fighter, he had incredible brute strength being able to lift and hurl a massive boulder.[2]
