This unnamed character is a member of the Beggars' Sect (개방, Gaebang) and works for them as a Fixer (해결사, Haegyeolsa).
Appearance & Personality[]
The fixer is a ragged looking man with a sharp gaze. He has buck teeth, messy facial hair, and long black hair that protrudes from the broken parts of his conical straw hat. His garments and cloak are shabby and dirty befitting a beggar. The fixer also carries around a staff wrapped in a straw sheet.
He is quite an expressive individual and while he has no hostility towards the general public, the fixer has no qualms about his pet sable killing his assigned targets in a gruesome manner.

Plot[]
Yongbi the Invincible[]
Volume 2[]
The Beggars' Sect headquarters sent this fixer to assassinate the Gold Bug who had been causing problems for some branch members. However, he failed his mission when his pet sable Lightning Flash skinned itself and offered its pelt to the Gold Bug instead of attacking. The Gold Bug then slipped away as the fixer was scolding his pet.
Volume 3[]
Later, the fixer was tracking down the Gold Bug but lost his trail in the mountains. After running into Yongbi, he got the information he wanted through his "mind-reading" ability (but not before giving up his money in exchange) but was too late to catch the Gold Bug who already sailed off in his ship.
Yongbi the Invincible - A Side Story[]
Volume 4[]
The fixer once again made an appearance when Elder Muk recruited him to tag along with Yongbi to interrogate the master of the Secret Sword School. When they eventually reached the base of the Secret Sword School, they found it in ruins and its inhabitants dead. Then the fixer started "mind-reading" the corpses, seriously freaking Yongbi out. With the fixer reading the last words of the members, Yongbi started to leave.
- Between the events of Yongbi the Invincible and Gosu (The Master)...
The Fixer participated in the old Murim Alliance's war against the Asura Blood Sect. The war eventually ended with a Pyrrhic victory for the Murim Alliance and the fixer's fate is currently unknown.[1]
Powers & Abilities[]
While he hasn't shown any use of martial arts in the story, the fixer is strong enough to hang upside down from a tree using only his legs and jump down from an incredible height without injuring himself.[2] He mostly uses his pet sable Lightning Flash to attack. Lightning Flash's fangs secrete poison that is ten times more venomous than an ordinary viper's and it is capable of killing a huge ox instantly. The sable is also said to be able to move as fast as lightning.[3]
Mind-Reading: The fixer has mastered the art of mind-reading to such a high level that he can read what others are thinking just by staring them in the eyes.[2] He is even capable of reading a person's last words by looking in the eyes of their corpse. In addition, the fixer claims that a true expert can read the entire person's life (he isn't on that level yet).[4]
Quotes[]
- (To Lightning Flash) "What the hell was that?! Did I send you to bring back a rice cake stick, you idiot?"[3]
Notes & Trivia[]
- The Beggars' Sect is a murim faction comprised fully of beggars.[3]
