Plot[]

Yongbi the Invincible[]

Volume 3[]

Tasked with trailing Yongbi, she and Mi-Ryeong followed him to an inn and spied on him from outside. When Yongbi openly brandished the Golden Medallion, she and Mi-Ryeong watched over the inn musing on Yongbi's intentions to display the medallion and noted that they will have to snatch the medallion if he dies. Finishing his meal, Yongbi got up to pay the bill but martial artists blocked his path and threatened him to hand over the Golden Medallion. After Yongbi smugly told them that he will sell it for a million gwan in gold, the martial artists all drew their weapons and proceed to attack. Then as martial artists were being launched out of the inn, she and Mi-Ryeong rushed inside to retrieve the Golden Medallion. To their surprise, Yongbi was unharmed, and in an attempt to not blow their cover, the agents rushed past him and sat down. In order to further pretend being ordinary customers, they ordered two bowls of blood soup with rice. Unfortunately, in their haste, they chose to sit down at a table reeking of blood and surrounded by bodies causing others to think they were female perverts. With the remaining martial artists too terrified to fight him, Yongbi started to leave. They then sent news of what happened to Hong Ye-Mong.

With news of the Golden Medallion in Yongbi's possession, countless factions started pursuing him. Hwan-Ryeong and Mi-Ryeong set up some misdirection to throw them off his trail.

Later, Yongbi encountered Sanggwan Chaek and eventually left with him. In the process, Yongbi also flung Ilgak into a nearby well as punishment for stealing his wine. Inside the well, the monk landed on and woke up Hwan-Ryeong who was hiding in there with Mi-Ryeong. After getting out, they continued trailing Yongbi.

Volume 4[]

Hwan-Ryeong and Mi-Ryeong arrived at the Hweyang Villa but were too late to stop Yongbi from confronting the Asura Blood Sect members so they just watched from afar. They watched in shock that Yongbi was defeating the warriors of the Asura Blood Sect, each of whom were considered to be equal to a hundred men, and wondered why Cruel Moon Archdemon, one of the eight Prelates of the Blood Sect, hasn't joined the fight yet. They then set up a plan to interfere in the fight and save Yongbi by creating a distraction, before returning to observing.

Volume 5[]

After Sanggwan Chaek revealed his betrayal and helped Cruel Moon Archdemon take down Yongbi, Biryong went beserk and lept over the demonists towards the unconscious Yongbi. Hwan-Ryeong assisted Biryong by triggering a stampede of horses and unleashing a barrage of arrows at the demonists which also punctured the barrels of oil strapped to the horses. Biryong managed to retrieve and escape with Yongbi's body. Eventually, the oil leaked all over the villa was ignited, creating a massive blaze.

Next morning, Hwan-Ryeong and Mi-Ryeong led Elder Muk and Hong Ye-Mong to a cave where Biryong was hiding the unconscious Yongbi. They also mentioned that Yongbi still had the Golden Medallion and that the one Sanggwan Chaek took was fake. She then accompanied everyone to the Red Bloods' ship where Yongbi was given medical aid.

Volume 15[]

After the events at the Muhae Valley and Yongbi's disappearance, she and Mi-Ryeong were seen trying to find information on his whereabouts.

Powers & Abilities[]

Hwan-Ryeon is a highly skilled agent as during the search for the Golden Castle, she was tasked by Hong Ye-Mong to tail Yongbi and to retrieve the Golden Medallion if needed.[1] She was even referred to as one of the Red Blood's most "elite agents".[2] Since she carries a sword around, it is presumed she is capable of using it in combat.

Immense Physical Speed: She had demonstrated immense speed being able to cover large distances in an instant,[3] and was fast enough to evade the warriors of the Asura Blood Sect.[4]

Master Archer: Hwan-Ryeon is proficient with the bow and is capable of firing up to five arrows at once to unleash a devastating barrage of arrows on her enemies.[4]
