Jo Bonggi (조봉기, Jobong-gi) was the leader of the Eight Imperial Sword School, an allied faction of the Murim Alliance before both were destroyed.
Appearance[]
He was a middle-aged man with long black hair tied back into a low ponytail and tied into a knot on the top of his head. His eyebrows flare upwards and he wore the traditional garments of the time. Due to the artist's error, he was seen with scars in his first appearance but not in later ones.
Plot[]
Revived Heavenly Destruction Sect[]
Jo Bonggi was at a meeting with the leaders of the Murim Alliance's core factions when they received news of the Baekma Valley allying with them. After Hwan Sa found out that the Murim Alliance planned on betraying them, he quickly returned to his headquarters to prepare for battle. He and his faction was subsequently slaughtered by Gwak Sojong.

While no match for one of the Sky Stars of the Revived Heavenly Destruction Sect, Jo Bonggi is presumed to be an above-average martial artist having been the master of his own faction.
