The Paelim Hall's base

The Paelim Hall (패림당 (霸林堂) , Paelimdang), also known as the Wild Dogs (들개무리 (野狗群) , Deulgae Muli), was a clandestine organisation shrouded in mystery and lead by the legendary Shadow Eminence of the old murim alliance, Sa Paecheon, the Devil of the Venom Hands. The organisation consisted of a multitude of seasoned veterans, all of whom once lead their own factions that were slaughtered by Sa Paecheon.

History

In the early days of Paelim Hall, many members attempted to assassinate Sa Paecheon when his guard appeared to down but all failed and were said to have died gruesome deaths. As a result, the remaining men decided to serve their mortal enemy while waiting for someone who could take him down. Despite knowing this, Sa Paecheon openly allowed them to accompany him.

Years later, the members of the Paelim Hall revolted against Sa Paecheon after witnessing the fight between him and Gang Ryong resulting in many casualties. Their dream was finally fulfilled when Ryong eliminated their leader one and for all. In the end, the members that survived cremated Paecheon and their comrades' bodies, and after searching for their escaped prisoner for three days, all left for unknown places.
