History[]
In her childhood, Elder Myeong bought her underclothes from a merchant from the west. It was said to be the only one in the whole world with that particular pattern and had a role in causing a series of hilarious misunderstandings for Goo Hwi in the future.[1]
Plot[]
Yongbi the Invincible[]
Volume 1[]
The Black Snake attempted to save Goo Hwi from Yongbi's clutches by using Sohee as a lure but Yongbi effortlessly defeated them and stole her underwear in the process. They then retreated to regroup and formulate a plan.
Volume 2[]
In the Hobuk province, Sohee watched Hobuk Castle from afar. After humiliating two men who approached her, a Black Snake officer informed her that Elder Myeong had arrived with reinforcements and that they should go over their plan to rescue Goo Hwi one last time. As they entered an inn, a man named Chu Gaho followed them planning to court Sohee. When the innkeeper attempted to stop him from entering, Chu Gaho sent him flying into the inn with a kick and threatened everyone inside, unaware that the inn was full of Black Snake assassins. Then Chu Gaho attempted to take on the assassins with the Blue Dragon Destroys The Ghosts technique, a move supposedly used when fighting against many enemies at once. However, to the shock of everyone, Chu Gaho just disguised himself as a cripple. Then the Black Snake assassins attacked him for his insolence.
Upstairs, Sohee and the other high-ranking officers went over their plan when they suddenly received news that Goo Hwi had already escaped his imprisonment three days prior. The Black Snake then quickly withdrew after being told that the officials in Hobuk castle noticed their presence and requested reinforcements.
Volume 5[]
Sohee and the Black Snake discovered the location of Goo Hwi but were puzzled that he was supposedly the bandit chieftain of the Cheongpung stronghold. Since the Tramps' Sect were a credible source of information, they decided to go and see for themselves.
Volume 6[]
They later arrived at the Cheongpung Stronghold and wondered where all the bandits were. Then they saw light coming out from a single house and they headed towards it
Inside the house, the remaining bandits contemplate on what to do now that their boss and comrades were dead (wiped out by Hwangbo Soong's party earlier). Then Sohee and the Black Snake entered the building and menacingly inquired the bandits on Goo Hwi's location. The bandits led them to a mass grave outside and the latter were forced to dig up the fake Goo Hwi's body. However, after only uncovering the arm baring the Black Snake tattoo, the Black Snake assassins truly believed that the body belongs Goo Hwi and Sohee fainted. As she was being tended to, the real Goo Hwi arrived and the misunderstanding was hilariously resolved.
Sohee was later seen accompanying her brother and the Black Snake. At a tavern, Big Head and his informant discussed the events surrounding the Golden Medallion. Upon hearing Yongbi's name, Goo Hwi and the Black Snake assassins confronted the two men. Goo Hwi forced Big Head to spill information on the events surrounding the Golden Castle before deciding to search for Yongbi to take revenge on him.
Sometime later in a village, she went to a fruit stand to buy sour fruits due to feeling queasy for the past few days. This caused Goo Hwi to mistakenly come to the conclusion that Sohee was pregnant with Yongbi's child and in a fit of rage, destroyed Hwangbo Soong's gilded carriage, who was also in the village to hire the services of a tracker.
Volume 7[]
She accompanied Goo Hwi and the Black Snake as they made their way through the Muhae Valley.
Volume 8[]
As an earthquake ranged out across the Valley causing the ground to break up and rocks to fall around them, the Black Snake assassins hurriedly tried to bring Sohee to safety.
Volume 9[]
At some point during the earthquake, Sohee was crushed under a tree though only suffered minor injuries, and fell ill. Goo Hwi infused her with some of his core inner ki before leaving with Jang-Ryong and Pung-Ho, ordering the rest of the Black Snake to remain with Sohee until she regained her senses.
Volume 15[]
She later reunited with Goo Hwi. After a short conversation, Hyeon Jae-Yang urged them to leave the valley as soon as possible due to the impending eruption of a volcano. Sohee was then seen urgently running again as the volcano erupted in the distance.
Some time later, after returning back to their headquarters, Yul Mugi visited the Black Snake and had a business meeting with her and Goo Hwi.
