Song Yerin is the third story arc of Gosu (The Master), consisting of three chapters.

Plot Summary[]

After spooking away some customers, Song Yerin overheard a conversation about the spirit of Lord Hong Daun haunting the Hong mansion. Interested, she asked Gang to take her to the mansion, offering him some jumbo dumplings in exchange. Later, reaching the entrance to the foggy mansion, the two encountered a scared bandit before heading in.

The bandit went and told his leader of his encounter and fearing that the manor would be looted by the two, prepared to head off to the manor. However, the bandits changed their minds after hearing some frightening noises. Meanwhile, Yerin and Ryong entered the Hong Family manor and Ryong quickly lost sight of Yerin. On his way to find her, he nonchalantly evaded the manor debris that was aimed at him. Meanwhile Yerin came out with a box and Gang eventually found her. With them having retrieved what she came for, they leave with Yerin mentioning that Lord Hong called Gang scary.

Eventually getting back to the tavern, Gang opened up the chest and found a bunch of tomes inside while Yerin goes to wash up the dishes. With Gang getting very engrossed in the tomes, Yerin came over and spotted what he was reading, causing him to look around in embarrassment. Telling him to bring the tomes and making excuses for why Lord Hong had them, they soon burned the tomes. Having dropped one, Song Chohyang picked it up and took it with her.

In the morning, a peppy Chohyang came out in good spirits having read a "Book of Prophecies" the night before. With Gang confused, Chohyang merely walked off into town.
